The
Oz legacy contains a long line of stage productions and other live adaptations. It all started in 1902 with a stage
production that was produced by L. Frank Baum, himself. Since then there have been countless stage productions, ice
shows, Oz was even a part of the Ringling Brother's Circus in the 1960s. To this date, hundreds of Oz shows are staged
across the country, many of which are based on the MGM musical. In fact, one of the most successful shows currently
running on Broadway is WICKED: The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz, a musical based on Oz myth. The list below is
just a small history of notable Oz productions over the years. Click on a title to learn more about the production.
