Oz Events and Happenings
    Oz events are happening across the country.  Below is a list of some of those events, their dates, and official website (if available).  Some events have a page dedicated specifically for them and/or a photo gallery.  For information on the Indiana Wizard of Oz Festival, click here.
Oz Festivals
    The following events are Oz Festivals.  They are family/general audience oriented and most require no preregistration.
  • March 14-15:  Southeast Wizard of Oz Festival, Orange Park Mall, Orange Park, Florida.  Official Website.

  • Memorial Day Weekend: The Yellow Brick Road Festival, Sedan, Kansas.  Call (316) 725-5221.
  • June 5-7: Oz-Stravaganza, Chittenango, New York.  Official Website.
  • June 25-27: Judy Garland Festival, Judy Garland Birthplace, Grand Rapids, Minnesota.  Official Website.

  • October 2-4: Autumn at Oz, Land of Oz Theme Park, Beech Mountain, Banner Elk, North Carolina.  Official Website.

Oz Club Conventions

    The following events are conventions put on by the International Wizard of Oz Festival.  Attendees must be club members or guests of a member.  They also require attendees to register and pay in advance.  For more information on the conventions visit the IWOC's official website.

  • Spring: South Winkie Convention, Dana Point, California.
  • June: The Ozmapolitan Convention, Napersville, Illinois.
  • July 10-12: The Winkie Convention, Asilomar Conference Center, Pacific Grove, California.
  • July 31-August 2: The Munchkin Convention, Syracuse, New York.
  • October 2-4: The IWOC National Convention, Manhatten, Kansas.
